By following a few simple rules, you can make sure you get the best burn from your candle. 

 

Burn candles for 4 hours at a time. 

Burning for shorter amounts of time can cause the flame and the melt pool to become too small and cause tunnelling. Burning for longer can cause the flame and the melt pool to become too large, which burns the candle down faster and can create a hazard. 

 

Trim wick to 1/4 inch before burning

Keeping the wick trimmed increases the lifespan of your candle, prevents soot and smoke and helps avoid the flame and melt pool becoming too large. 

 

Always follow candle safety. Burn on a level, heat resistant surface and never leave a burning candle unattended.
